 EPOS Providers For retailers and EPOS providers, integration of EPOS applications to PayRouter could not be easier. Integral provide a unified API (Application programming Interface) which resides on each till. The API in effect is a library of functions (DLL’s) which the EPOS application calls. The API opens an IP socket to PayRouter and passes the packet to PayRouter containing the relevant card data. All traffic is encrypted ensuring that there is no possibility of the card details being revealed to unauthorised parties. The PIN Pad, (such as a VeriFone SC5000) which is connected to the EPOS Till via a serial port, is controlled by Integral’s SmartManager application.
